SDSU Announces ‘Jacks Bash 3’ featuring Blake Shelton & Thomas Rhett – DRGNews

BROOKINGS, S.D. – South Dakota State University revealed today that country music stars Blake Shelton and Thomas Rhett will headline Jacks Bash 3 at Dana J. Dykhouse Stadium. The August 28 show will also include special guests Ty Myers and DJ Blake Horstmann.
First PREMIER Bank and PREMIER Bankcard, exclusive sponsors of Jacks Bash 3, said the event is a back-to-campus party celebrating SDSU, the Brookings community and Jackrabbits athletics.
“Jacks Bash 3 will be an incredible event to kick off another highly-anticipated year for South Dakota State athletics,” SDSU Athletic Director Justin Sell said. “We are excited to bring Jackrabbits home to celebrate our university and larger community with a night together at Dana J. Dykhouse Stadium.”
First PREMIER Bank CEO Dana Dykhouse said the event also serves as a way for PREMIER to celebrate its 1,800 employees.
“PREMIER has grown into one of the nation’s strongest financial organizations, and we owe that success to our employees, customers and communities,” said Dykhouse. “What better way to show our appreciation than to throw another big party for them in our state’s largest football stadium.” PREMIER also sponsored Jacks Bash events at SDSU in 2016 and 2021.
Exclusive Jacks Bash 3 presale opportunities are available to SDSU students beginning April 18 at 12 p.m. SDSU football season ticket holders, Jackrabbit Club members and SDSU staff/faculty will receive instructions via email for acquiring their presale tickets. A limited number of tickets will go on sale at 10 a.m. on Friday, April 25 to the general public online through www.JackrabbitTickets.com. This event is open to ages 16 and up. On its heels, “Drinkin’ Alone” exploded with over 26 million Spotify streams and counting.
