Single And Official Music Video From Forthcoming LIVE IN DALLAS Album
Memphis, TN — For five decades, the iconic Gospel group The Brown Singers has given us music rooted deeply in traditional hymns and spirituals with an amalgamation of soul, blues, and jazz. The Brown Singers today, Vanessa Brown Knowles, Lisa Knowles-Smith, Jackienna Richmond, Sierra Ward-Pope, and Rachel Anderson, remain a tight family legacy of singers who deliver classic Gospel quartet music with their signature vivacious vocals and elegant style while adding a contemporary simmer that sets stages and souls on fire for God. That evolution has rendered a 4X Stellar Award-winning legacy Gospel Quartet group Lisa Knowles-Smith and The Brown Singers.
Lisa Knowles-Smith and The Brown Singers recorded their latest album, LIVE IN DALLAS, in February. With the incredible excitement and anticipation for the album, they are ready to offer the first single from that live recording, “Promises.”
“Promises expresses the sentiments of our hearts and is a powerful reminder that God’s promises are unwavering,” says Lisa. “His promises are Yes and Amen! No matter the season or circumstance, His word never changes!”
“Promises” is written by Lisa Knowles-Smith and is available now on all digital music outlets via Lisa’s independent label Evoworld Entertainment, INC. The ladies have also released the official music video for “Promises” on their YouTube channel. The video will absolutely take viewers to church while immersing them in the power and conviction the group delivers with each note.
LIVE IN DALLAS album is set to be released this summer. In addition to their Spring/Summer tour schedule, Lisa and The Brown Singers will be making key appearances. On April 24, they will headline the Gospel Tent at the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival. Catch Lisa on May 2 in Memphis, TN, with the popular music community collective The Choir Room, and on May 3 in Cincinnati, OH, at the annual I Hear Music Conference and Concert.
