Lainey Wilson and Ella Langley were the biggest winners at this year’s Academy of Country Music (ACM) Awards.
Held at The Ford Center at The Star in Frisco, Texas, on Thursday (8 May), 16-time ACM Award winner Reba McEntire hosted the star-studded event.
For the second year in a row, Wilson received the coveted award of Entertainer of the Year, taking home four awards in total on the night. It was Ella Langley’s evening, though, with the singer-songwriter winning five awards, including New Female Artist of the Year.
Brooks & Dunn were named Duo of the Year, Old Dominion won Group of the Year, Chris Stapleton was named Male Artist of the Year, and Zach Top was named New Male Artist of the Year. Meanwhile, Lainey Wilson won Album of the Year for Whirlwind, Ella Langley took home Single of the Year for you look like you love me (featuring Riley Green), and Cody Johnson won Song of the Year with Dirt Cheap.
