Delta Goodrem has revealed she has her eye on performing at a future Eurovision Song Contest.
The 40-year-old Australian singer admits she is a huge fan of the annual music competition, which has been running since 1956 and saw Australia join in 2015.
Speaking to The Sun, the Hearts On The Run singer said, „Of course I would do Eurovision. I love it! … I’ve got my thoughts on what I would do if I was competing, for sure.“
Expressing her love for the long-running contest, she said, „I’m obsessed. I flew into London and watched some of the semi-finals.
„I loved (UK presenters) Scott Mills and Rylan’s commentary. I love the creativity of it all. You discover some amazing talents.“
The theme of the 2025 Eurovision Song Contest is Welcome Home and is hosted by 2024 winners Switzerland – who were also hosts of the inaugural competition back in 1956.
Singer-songwriter Go-Jo is representing Australia at the 2025 contest, performing a song titled Milkshake Man, but will need to qualify in the semi-finals on Thursday to make it to Saturday night’s grand finale.
Country pop girl group Remember Monday are representing the UK and will perform a song titled What the Hell Just Happened?
Meanwhile, the host nation of Switzerland will be represented by singer Zoë Më with a song titled Voyage.
Swedish group KAJ, consisting of singers Kevin Holmström, Axel Åhman and Jakob Norrgard, are hot favourites to win the contest with their infectious track Bara Bada Bastu, which translates to Just Take A Sauna.
The Eurovision Song Contest 2025 grand finale will be broadcast on Saturday 17 May 2025 at 8pm BST.
