Post-apocalyptic Australian psych metallers Battlesnake‘s latest single “Murder Machine” has now taken full form. The group put out the below video for that song today, May 08th. As the band put it, “The Exultants demonic hound pigs, their faithful servants built to hunt Jesus Christ. The ‘Machina Mortifero’ (in English ‘Murder Machine’), they feed only on bile and human waste. The scent of the Son of Man drives them into insanity and the hunt begins.”
If that description raised more questions than answers, their new album “Dawn Of The Exultants And The Hunt For The Shepherd” further fleshes out that continued story arc which the group have been exploring through their sonic output. Speaking a bit more practically about the video itself, the band said via social media:
“TFW your director tapes over 90% of the footage you took for your music video with footage of a wedding but still manages to make a masterpiece… true story!
Anyway, found an abandoned house with some very strange things inside and basically filmed the Bicentennial Man 2 in there”
