As Post Malone and Jelly Roll continue their expansive run of shows as part of the Big Ass Stadium Tour, fans are clamouring for the duo to drop another collaboration, following their 2024 hit, ‘Losers’, which arrived on Post's debut country record, F-1Trillion.
Post and Jelly have been teaming up on-stage to deliver a spectacular live rendition of ‘Losers’ on each night of the Big Ass Stadium Tour so far, with the artists’ friendship warmly radiating throughout every performance of the uplifting anthem.
In an interview with Billboard News, Jelly Roll has seemingly hinted that he and Post Malone are currently cooking up a follow-up to ‘Losers’. In response to a question about whether Jelly and Post are “working on another hit together”, Jelly looked teasingly to the side, sharing, “We are definitely working…That's my buddy”.
The ‘Need a Favor’ hitmaker then movingly paid tribute to his duet partner, and expressed his gratitude for Post's decision to select Jelly as the direct opener on one of the most coveted support slots in the world, “Man, first of all, we're talking about one of the biggest artists in the world. We're talking about Post Malone. We're talking about the dude that wrote ‘White Iverson’ and ‘rockstar’ and ‘Congratulations’ and ‘Sunflower’. He could've [taken] anybody [on tour]. He didn't have to take me. He didn't have to take a country act. He didn't have to do any of that, and he picked me, and I'm forever grateful. I did nothing to earn that spot”.
Jelly went on, “That's the truth…That's one of those things you can't earn…Those are gifts, and he gifted me that – and I am not dropping the ball. You will see Friday, he gave the right guy the ball, baby. I scored a touchdown and spiked it”.
With Post Malone confirming he's working on his F-1Trillion follow-up album with the likes of Chandler Walters, ERNEST, Thomas Rhett and more, we're keeping everything crossed that Posty has recorded another stellar joint track with Jelly Roll.
Given the fact that Jelly Roll posted about his longstanding dream of collaboration with Post Malone back in May 2023, it's truly heartwarming now seeing the duo enjoying such a close artistic and personal relationship while out on the road. Post and Jelly bring their Big Ass Stadium Tour to the UK and Europe later this year.
