(May 20, 2025) — Billboard chart-topping and best-selling vocalist Deborah Silver has done it again debuting at #1 on the Current Traditional Jazz Album Sales chart and #12 on Billboard’s Traditional Jazz Albums chart with her brand new album Basie Rocks! (Green Hill Productions) featuring the legendary Count Basie Orchestra making Basie Rocks! the highest debut for this week’s Billboard Traditional Jazz chart.

From her collaboration with Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Peter Frampton on “Baby, I Love Your Way” to her fiery take on The Rolling Stones’ “Paint It, Black” featuring 10-time GRAMMY®-winning Cuban trumpeter Arturo Sandoval, along with Pedrito Martínez on percussion, Basie Rocks! offers something for everyone to enjoy.
Produced by Steve Jordan of the Rolling Stones, Basie Rocks! fittingly and stylishly honors the legendary Count Basie Orchestra’s 90th anniversary.
