Country and gospel bands on tap for Flagler Museum's Bluegrass at the Pavilion – Palm Beach Daily News

A beloved form of American roots music is on tap this weekend at the Flagler Museum.
The Kody Norris Show and Authentic Unlimited will perform during the Bluegrass in the Pavilion event at 3 p.m. April 26.
In The Kody Norris Show, attendees will see and hear a band that honors and respects the roots of bluegrass music but aims to carry the tradition forward, pleasing core fans of the genre while attracting new ones, the museum said.
The four-member ensemble includes Norris on guitar and vocals; Josiah Tyree on banjo; Mary Rachel Nalley-Norris on fiddle; and Charlie Lowman on bass.
The group won several honors at the Bluegrass Music Awards last year, including Album of the Year for “Rhinestone Revival,” and Song of the Year for “I call her Sunshine.”
Authentic Unlimited is a bluegrass/gospel group that includes Jerry Cole, bass and vocals; Stephen Burwell, fiddle; and Eli Johnston, banjo and vocals). The three musicians were members of Doyle Lawson & Quicksilver’s last touring band before he retired.
They’re joined by mandolin player Jesse Brock and singer John Meador.
In 2023, Authentic Unlimited was named Vocal Group of the Year and New Artist of the Year at the Bluegrass Music Awards as well as the gospel group of the year and vocal group of the year.
Tickets are $45 and are valid only for the concert. They do not include admission to the museum. Advance purchase is recommended.
