Emerging force Cosmorat has shared plans for their new ‘POOSHKA’ EP.
The alt-pop visionary was born in the Appalachian foothills, and spent their adolescence soaking up music in all its forms. Very much a child of the internet and social media, Cosmorat utilises information-overload practically as an instrument in itself.
Incoming EP ‘POOSHKA’ lands on July 8th, and the title is lifted from the Slovak word for rifle – it was later co-opted by Stanley Kubrick’s Clockwork Orange as a term for a gun.
An alt-pop sharp-shooter, Cosmorat launches the EP with ‘Stealing!!!’ – lawless in its creativity, it hinges on that precocious chorus, and the singer’s gift for a killer ear-worm hook.
