„10 Things I Hate About You“ is getting a musical!
Pop star Carly Rae Jepsen on Instagram revealed that she’s working on the project.
„I can tell you 10 things I’m excited about right now or just skip to number one which is working on this dream project with this dream team! #10ThingsMusical,“ she wrote, sharing a photo of a music sheet.
According to Billboard, she’s working on the score with Ethan Gruska.
Meawhile, Lena Dunham will co-write the book with Jessica Huang.
„10 Things I Hate About You“ will be directed and choreographed by Christopher Wheeldon („An American in Paris“), while Tom Kitt will be the music supervisor, arranger, and orchestrator. It will be produced by Mike Bosner.
The original 1999 movie stars Julia Stiles (Kat) and Heath Ledger (Patrick).
