Dmytro Hrunskyi has earned his place in history as a serial Guinness World Records holder with seven impressive feats of strength under his belt.
The 35-year-old Ukrainian powerhouse pulls massive vehicles with unusual body parts – his neck, his teeth and, perhaps most surprisingly, his beard.
In his latest triumph, Dmytro broke the world record for the heaviest vehicle pulled by a beard by successfully dragging a truck weighing 2 580kg over five metres in just 26 seconds.

The remarkable feat shattered the previous record set a decade ago by Lithuania’s Antanas Kontrimas, who pulled a vehicle weighing 1 952kg with his facial hair.
„My hobby is extreme power tricks,“ Dmytro says. „And my goal is to be a multiple record-holder.“
Dmytro first attempted the beard-pulling record in 2019, but the challenge literally came apart when his facial hair broke during the pull.
Undeterred, he spent three and a half years preparing for another attempt.
„I grew my beard longer and experimented with different ways to braid it to make it as strong and rope-like as possible,“ he says.
Having started powerlifting 20 years ago, Dmytro has become a well-known fitness instructor in Ukraine.
His record-breaking journey began in 2022 when he pulled a 32 500kg train with his neck using a cable just 2mm thick.
He subsequently achieved another neck-pulling milestone by becoming the first person to pull a vehicle weighing 7 760kg.
His next goal was to break the record for pulling the heaviest vehicle with his knee, but those plans were interrupted when conflict erupted between Russia and Ukraine.
„The war began, my attempt was cancelled. I did not train. I worked as a volunteer at a children’s hospital,“ he recalls.
Once the situation somewhat stabilised, the determined strongman resumed training with renewed purpose.
In 2023, Dmytro added two more achievements to his collection – the most cars pulled with teeth and the fastest 30m car pull with teeth.
„I dedicate this record to my country, Ukraine, which has been fighting for more than a year and does not give up,“ he said at the time.
His impressive résumé also includes the fastest 30m bus pull with teeth and the fastest time to pull a lorry/truck 20m by a male team.
These unique accomplishments have earned him international recognition and admiration.
„It’s great to know that you’re officially amazing,“ Dmytro says with pride. „Especially seven times.“
