Miss World South Africa, Zoalize van Rensburg, is gearing up to represent the country on the international stage at the 72nd Miss World pageant, set to take place in Hyderabad, Telangana.
The 18-year-old beauty queen shared heartfelt words on her Instagram account about her journey and purpose at her send-off event.
„Today, I took a bow of humility and gratitude,“ she said.
„I bowed my head in celebration of purpose and dreams. The dreams of my people and the dreams of communities.“

She received a lot of love at the O.R International Airport.
„Departure for the 72nd Miss World Festival from Jacarandas to the vibrant Telangana. I can’t wait to experience your magical state and country. I will be carrying the spirit of our rainbow nation with me. Thank you for all the love and support.“

Since childhood, Zoalize’s values of kindness, love, and hope have guided her, shaping a purpose-driven life focused on making an impact on others.
She expressed her gratitude to South Africans for their unwavering support, saying, „Thank you for believing in me. Thank you for showing me I belong. I carry the spirit of you all with me.“

In 2024, she launched her Beauty with a Purpose project, Never Too Young to Advocate, an initiative to empower the youth globally. The project is anchored on three key pillars: educate, graduate, and advocate.
Van Rensburg uses the power of social media to inspire mental resilience and boost self-encouragement, which are essential tools to elevate the voices of the young generation and integrate them into impactful spaces.
Her ultimate goal is to bring the prestigious Miss World crown back to South Africa.
„I believe that I have the qualities to bring back the fourth blue (Miss World) crown for and to South Africa. That crown is my biggest ambition because it is a vessel for change, and that in itself holds so much power,“ shared Van Rensburg.
