The annual Music Week Awards were held on Thursday night in London, recognising achievements from across the music industry.
Sony Music took home trophies for International Marketing Team of the Year, in recognition of the global achievements of Myles Smith and Central Cee and Music & Brand Partnership for Tom Grennan’s hugely successful Gillette campaign, The Best A Man Can Get. Music Week described the campaign as ‘a groundbreaking collaboration that set new standards in merging music with brand storytelling’.
Brooke Salisbury (Senior Vice President, International & Digital Partnerships, Sony Music UK) said: “I want to start by recognising what an incredible year it’s been for British artists on a global stage. I don’t think the headlines in the news always represent this. Our brilliant labels, our artists and everyone in the Sony Music global community – we couldn’t do it without you”.
