Shor Police Entertainers Connect WOW Awards Asia 2025
When Clinton Cerejo, a multi-award-winning composer and producer, teamed up with powerhouse singer-songwriter Bianca Gomes, Shor Police was born—a genre-fluid musical duo known for transforming every stage into an electrifying spectacle. With a seamless blend of Bollywood beats, Hollywood rock, and infectious pop energy, Shor Police has performed over 100 live shows worldwide, building a reputation as one of India’s most versatile and high-octane live acts.
As they prepare to bring their signature musical madness to Entertainers Connect @ WOW Awards Asia 2025, the duo sat down with us to talk about evolution, originality, and staying relevant in an ever-shifting entertainment ecosystem.
1. What does being a part of the 11th edition of Entertainers Connect mean to you? How do you see it levelling up your work and boosting your presence in the industry?
Entertainers Connect is where the magic happens. It’s not just an event—it’s a power hub where the who’s who of the event and live entertainment industry converge. If you want your name to echo in the right circles, this is where you need to be. It’s an organic space to grow, connect, and be seen by those who matter most.
2. What inspired you to choose this path as your profession? And now that you’ve spent time in the industry, what shifts or positive differences have you witnessed over time?
When we started, the goal was to sound as close as possible to the top 40 hits. Today, it’s the complete opposite—it’s all about standing out, about originality. The industry now rewards authenticity and distinct voices. Writing our own music has been the best way to discover and shape our sound, and we’re loving this creative freedom.
3. How do you stay relevant and innovative in such a dynamic and evolving entertainment industry?
By listening—a lot. Staying current means being open to new sounds, artists, and ideas. As individuals, we evolve, and that evolution should reflect in our music. Reinvention is not a choice anymore—it’s the way forward.
4. What’s next for Shor Police? Are there any specific projects, formats, or collaborations you’re aiming to explore?
We’re constantly juggling between composing and live gigs—and we wouldn’t have it any other way! We’ve just composed songs for our first Telugu film, which also marks Samantha Ruth Prabhu’s debut as a producer. Following that, our Hindi film Pune Highway is set to release. In between, we’re actively involved in branded content with some of India’s top brands. Variety truly is the spice of our musical life.
5. What’s your go-to trick for winning over a tough crowd? Do you have a mantra or phrase that you say to yourself before every performance?
We always say a prayer before getting on stage. Every audience is different, and the key is to make them feel involved. If it’s a popular song, we get them to sing along. Our vibe sets the tone—if we’re having a blast, the crowd usually joins in!
6. What advice or message would you give to aspiring artists?
Find your own voice. That’s the single most important thing. And don’t stop learning. Loading up a laptop with software won’t make you a producer. Learn the craft. Understand the nuances. Only then can you truly connect with an audience.
