“To be someone’s yellow is to be irreplaceable,” Sawyer says when describing the song, which gives major Dominic Fike vibes.
This introspective gem captures the nerve-wracking leap it takes to ask someone, as Sawyer puts it, “to be yours.” The hypnotic guitars lull the listener into a nice groove, while the punchy drums keep their feet thumping to the beat. “The commentary in Boyband’s verse expresses the internal grappling of feeling worthy of another’s affection,” Sawyer continues.
