(Batesville, IN) – The Batesville Music Boosters will host the inaugural Batesville Bravo Awards Ceremony on May 29 at Batesville High School.
The ceremony will celebrate the achievements and commitment of grade 6-12 music students in the Batesville Community School Corporation, as well as recognize volunteers who support the music programs through their dedication to events, performances, and help behind the scenes.
Over 40 awards will be presented during the ceremony. Awards will range from recognizing the positive attitudes and enthusiasm of middle school musicians to the prestigious national band, choir, and color guard awards given to an outstanding high school music student.
Students will be nominated by their peers and directors for these awards and the winners will be revealed at the event.
Doors open at 5:15 p.m. and a reception with light refreshments, a special photo area, and live music by Jump ‘N’ Jive Big Band will be held prior to the awards presentation.
The ceremony will begin at 6 p.m. in the BHS auditorium.
Tickets will be available at the door and are $5 per person for anyone age six and up.
All Batesville Middle and High School student musicians get in free.
