The new record store shows comes as Simz has already shared two singles from the upcoming album – ‘Flood’ and ‘Free’ – and has since shared the star-studded tracklist with fans.
Comprising 13 songs, ‘Lotus’ features appearances from Michael Kiwanuka, Moses Sumney, Sampha, Obongjayar, Wretch 32, Moonchild Sanelly, Yussef Dayes, Lydia Kitto, Miraa May and Yukimi Nagano.
As well as gearing up for the album release, Simz is also curating the 2025 edition of Meltdown Festival at London’s Southbank Centre –  joining an impressive list of previous curators including David Bowie, Nick Cave, Patti Smith and Grace Jones.

For her edition, she will be playing a one-off orchestral show, as well as inviting performances from The Streets, Lola Young, Ghetts, Jon Batiste and Little Dragon’s Yukimi.
Later this year, the Mercury Prize winner will also be playing her biggest headline shows to date, with stops at Manchester’s Co-Op Live and The O2 in London lined up. Visit here for tickets and more information.

Her last album, ‘NO THANK YOU’, was given a four-star review from NME, which read: “‘NO THANK YOU’s quiet, understated release provides parallels to Kendrick Lamar’s ‘Untitled Unmastered’ release from 2016, a series of leftovers from his ‘To Pimp A Butterfly’ sessions.
“That too had a certain looseness and freedom to the tracks, and, much like Lamar, a clear-headed Simz has something to say urgently. The case for Simz to be recognised as a true modern great has only been strengthened with this release.”
