From pastor’s kid to powerhouse, Judah_ZA, born Dumisani Ngwenya, is a multitalented musical director, arranger, producer, creative director and now an emerging artist.
Speaking to TshisaLIVE, Judah_ZA said: “Each one of the people I’ve worked with has influenced my career in profound ways. I’ve also had the privilege of performing at major events, specially when international speakers and artists come to SA. The collaborations and experiences have opened so many doors for me and given me a chance to grow as an artist and a person”.
In addition to his work behind the scenes, Judah_ZA has stepped into the spotlight as an artist, creating his own music.
Judah_ZA’s story is one of passion, perseverance, and dedication coupled with philanthropy. He has worked with local music giants such as Nqubeko Mbatha, Ntokozo Mbambo and Khaya Mthethwa.
“I’ve been working with graduates for a few years, helping them find their footing in the music industry. I started a company that’s mostly made up of fresh talent, young people who are either starting out or still in school. My goal is to create job opportunities, provide mentorship and give them the platform they need to grow and showcase their skills. The purpose is simple: I believe in the next generation, and I want to make sure they don’t have to struggle like I did when I was starting.”
