"Hope nobody's mad if we give this thing another kick at the can"

Hollerado played their „final shows“ in 2019, but they reformed in 2024 to open for Tokyo Police Club. Now, they’ve made their reunion official and announced plans to release new music.
„We’ve been working on some new music and that’s been really nice to do,“ frontman Menno Versteeg announced on Instagram. „We’re playing some small shows this fall, doing a couple festivals too, and this summer we’re gonna record some of the new music we’ve been working on and put it on the internet!“
Versteeg noted that the band members have stayed best friends in the six years since they were officially an active band. „Hope nobody’s mad if we give this thing another kick at the can,“ he wrote. „Taking a break was much needed and really healthy, but now we’re starting over. Ooopsies.“
Hollerado have confirmed two of those upcoming shows: they will be playing Toronto’s Horseshoe Tavern on November 21 and 22. Tickets are $40 in advance.
