ISLAMABAD: A night of classical elegance and heartfelt generosity unfolded in the capital, blending European musical excellence with a commitment to social impact.
The event showcased masterful performances by acclaimed artists from the Kuwait Music Academy. The evening’s highlights included pianist Karol Masternak, a laureate of the prestigious Chopin Competition, alongside tenor Kamil Mateusz Derylo and the versatile Kinga Masternak, a gifted pianist and soprano. Their performances captivated the audience with renditions of timeless European and Polish classical compositions.
Guests enjoyed an immersive cultural experience, with the programme celebrating the rich heritage of Polish music and the evocative beauty of operatic traditions. Beyond the music, the gala carried a powerful message of community and compassion.
Proceeds from the evening, totaling Rs1 million, were donated to Pehli Kiran Schools (PKS), a nonprofit organisation providing education to over 5,000 out-of-school children from underprivileged areas of Islamabad and Rawalpindi.
Polish Ambassador to Pakistan Maciej Pisarski said: “Culture transcends borders. Tonight’s event demonstrated the unifying power of music and our shared dedication to uplifting young lives through education.” The evening concluded with resounding applause and gratitude from guests, marking it as a memorable celebration of music, partnership, and purpose.
