Alternative pop singer-songwriter Emilia Vaughn released a high-energy club mix of her 2025 single “Rock Music, Girl Secrets.” The remix, released on April 25, 2025, offers a bold reimagining of the original, transforming it from an introspective synth-pop track into a vibrant dance floor anthem.
The original version of “Rock Music, Girl Secrets” debuted in January 2025 and showcases Vaughn’s signature blend of shimmering synths, ambient guitar textures, and emotionally reflective lyrics. Critics praised the track’s genre-crossing production for its balance of vulnerability and sonic richness.
The single was featured in Apple Music’s New in Alternative editorial playlist during its release week and debuted at #7 on Tidal’s Chill Pop playlist. It gained traction on Spotify, where it was added to over 1,500 independently curated playlists, helping it build streaming momentum across platforms.
The music video for “Rock Music, Girl Secrets” further expanded Vaughn’s reach. It received nearly one million views in the first quarter of 2025. The video gained airplay on MTV U.S., MTV Latin America, MTV Brazil, and MTV Mexico, signaling strong industry interest in the emerging Artist.
Additional broadcast support came from LATV, DEC Network, Clear TV, and Sidewalks Entertainment, along with inclusion on retail and fitness media networks such as Woven Media and Gym TV. These placements brought the video into major public spaces like Target and Gold’s Gym, significantly expanding its visibility.
Following this success, Vaughn was awarded the YouTube Silver Creator Award after surpassing 100,000 subscribers on her official artist channel—a milestone for any independent artist.
The “Rock Music, Girl Secrets (Club Mix)” was produced by Mikey Francis, resident DJ at Omnia Nightclub in Las Vegas, in collaboration with producer Vincent Smith. The remix retains the emotional core of the original while layering in high-BPM rhythms and extended instrumental builds typical of modern club tracks.
Released on April 25, 2025, the remix is now available on all major streaming platforms.
Vaughn’s next single, “Limbo,” is set for release in summer 2025. Visiting Artist in Residence and Grammy-Award-winning producer Matt Rollings led the Berklee College of Music student production.
