Doja Cat has briefly addressed experiencing a plastic surgery complication.
The rapper begged fans not to „clock“ her visible complication in a social media post following her latest show.
This past weekend, she performed at iHeartRadio’s 102.7 KIIS FM Wango Tango in Huntington Beach, California, in a sequined, aqua-coloured mini-dress, fishnet stockings and silver buckled heels.
The singer drew further attention to her plunging neckline with her sparkly choker and drop earrings. The look was topped off with a new mane of cascading blonde hair.
The following day, the singer, whose real name is Amala Dlamini, posted on X, „Don’t clock my contracted implant, it’s all I ask.“
According to the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, a contracted implant happens when „scar tissue becomes unusually hard and starts to contract“ around a breast implant.
The scar tissue can then cause the breast implant to shift upwards and look misshapen, and may cause pain. It usually occurs in the first two years after implant surgery and often requires more surgery to correct.
„We were too mesmerised by the show to notice,“ one fan reassured the rapper.
Doja Cat has previously been open about going under the knife, opting for a breast reduction and liposuction on her hips and thighs in 2023.
