With six records since their formation in 2008, four consecutive number #1 albums in their home country, and the strongest line-up the Finnish power/symphonic metal group has ever had, today BATTLE BEAST release their brand-new single. ‘Last Goodbye‘ is the first taste from the band’s seventh album, set to be released later this year.
Member Eero Sipilä stated excitedly:
“The spark for Last Goodbye was lit in the least rock ‘n roll place imaginable: a hospital. In 2020, I spent a few weeks there and met an older woman battling cancer—a fight she’d been waging on and off since 1985. It made me wonder: how much can a person take before they give up? But she never did. She kept showing up, kept pushing through the treatments, kept being around. Last Goodbye is a tribute to that human fighting spirit—the will to rise every time life knocks you down. As long as you’re breathing, you’re still in the game.”

Close to two decades into their career, with six records, 400M+ streams, four consecutive number #1 albums in their home country, and the strongest line-up the Finnish symphonic heavy metal group ever had, BATTLE BEAST released their first live album Circus Of Doom – Live in Helsinki 2023 on April 11th, via Nuclear Blast Records. The live album is available on all DSPs and as a Limited Edition CD plus Blu-ray Digipak.
Offering 117 minutes of playing time, 15 songs, a stunning 24-page booklet showing the band’s impressive stage and performance in a series of photos by Jaakko Manninen, and artwork by Jan Yrlund, Circus Of Doom – Live in Helsinki 2023 is a triumphant testimony to BATTLE BEAST‘s one of a kind adventurous and monumental music. Recorded in the Helsinki Ice Hall on January 27, 2023, mixed by the band’s “keytarist” Janne Björkroth and mastered at the legendary Finnvox by Mika Jussila, this massive live package is a highlight for every dedicated fan out there and perfectly captures the ambitious dystopian carnival show BATTLE BEAST put up during their past touring cycle. And rest assured that Noora, Janne, Joona, Juuso, Eero and Pyry are already preparing an even more exciting new chapter for their fantastic tale that will hit you straight in the heart and take you beyond the burning skies.
