In a bold new chapter of her storied career, iconic Australian country artist Catherine Britt has officially signed to Red Rebel Music, marking a fresh partnership ahead of her highly anticipated new music.
Known for her powerhouse vocals, fearless songwriting, and a career that spans over two decades, Britt says the move signals a renewed energy and sense of purpose. “It’s always exciting to start a new chapter and embrace some positive change,” she shared. “I have been doing music for over 20 years and have ventured into many different working relationships. Some good, some not as good, but they all lead me to where I needed to go next. This next chapter with Red Rebel Music I feel is going to be the best yet.
Britt added, “I have never felt more confident in myself, more settled in my sound, brand and music and I can’t think of a better partner to do this with. I have always chosen to work with people who “get” what I am doing and who are just as passionate about what crazy things I am doing as I am. Let’s GO!“
Red Rebel Music’s Karen Waters echoed the enthusiasm, calling the signing both exciting and deeply meaningful. “For me, the name Catherine Britt is synonymous with country music and is an absolute superstar. To have her officially join Red Rebel Music is not only exciting but an absolute honour.”
With a resume that includes five Golden Guitar Awards, six ARIA nominations, and a record deal with RCA Nashville at just 17, Britt remains one of Australia’s most accomplished country voices. She’s toured with legends like Brooks & Dunn, Alan Jackson, and Dolly Parton, recorded a duet with Sir Elton John, and made history as the youngest Australian ever to perform at the Grand Ole Opry.
Britt’s discography spans eight solo studio albums, including her ARIA #1 release Home Truths in 2021. Recently, she’s also won new fans as part of the alt-country supergroup The Pleasures, alongside Lachlan Bryan, Damian Cafarella, and Bradley Bergen.
