UK producer DARGZ has shared his new album ‘Friends & Family’ in full.
Out now, the record follows a string of excellent singles, blending warm, house-leaning electronics with the spatial awareness and outright freedom of jazz. Fusing the digital with the organic, tracks like ‘Get It Right’ and ‘Smiley’ displayed an incredible sense of imagination.
Out now, ‘Friends & Family’ is aptly named – DARGZ embraces collaboration in his creative process, while the record opens with a sample of his daughter’s voice.
The cast list on the record boasts guests like Oscar Jerome, Blue Lab Beats, Nadine El Roubi, Mysie, Milan Ring, and Moses Boyd, aligning around the producer’s central vision.
DARGZ will showcase the album with a special in-store on May 14th at Rough Trade Denmark Street in Central London, in addition to a slot at Cross The Tracks Festival.
