You can share your favorite lyrics from YouTube Music to your family and friends.

From being unbearable to being one of the most feature-rich, the YouTube Music app has turned the tide in its favor over the past couple of years. It is now neck to neck with Spotify, the world’s most popular music streaming platform, in terms of features. It is about to offer lyrics sharing with an upcoming update.
YouTube Music’s Android app received support for lyrics a few years ago. In 2023, it received support for real-time lyrics. Now, 9To5Google is reporting that the company appears to be preparing to release a feature that lets you share song lyrics to social media and messaging apps.

Currently, the feature seems to be rolling out to some people who are using the latest beta version of YouTube Music on Android phones and tablets.
To share lyrics, open the Lyrics tab and hit the Share button. The app will then take you to the ‘Select Lyrics‘ screen where you can choose which lines to share. Once you hit ‘Next,‘ you can choose the background color of your choice and hit the ‘Share‘ button to share the lyrics via Instagram.
You can also share the lyrics embossed image with other apps or download the image if you just want to save it and share later.
While YouTube Music has the widest collection of music, it has two problems: inconsistent rollout of new features and the lack of Hi-Res audio quality. Apple Music, Prime Music, Tidal, and Qobuz already offer Hi-Res music streaming, and Spotify is expected to bring it this year. Hopefully, YouTube music will bring support for Hi-Res music streaming quality this year to match Spotify.
