Tunes On the Bay live as Wales' biggest ever beach festival kicks off in Swansea – Wales Online

A brand new festival kicked off down on Swansea's seafront as Tunes On the Bay making its debut in Wales. The three-day music event will see pop, indie and dance acts perform at the beach in the Welsh city, starting on Friday, May 2 and closing on Sunday, May 4 with a day of dance.
Headlining the event over the course of the weekend will be McFly, Supergrass and Sosa. You can read a guide of all you need to know about the event, including the day-to-day schedule, ticket information, and much more by clicking here.
McFly had the crowd going wild as they performed all their classics and ended with Five Colours in Her Hair.
Tommy Job is founder and director of Tunes Festivals. He explained how the festival started ten years ago, on Perranporth Beach in 2015, with 'Tunes in the Dunes'.
He said: "We chose Swansea as a location as it is a vibrant and exciting city, which did not yet have a large festival for the city to get behind. We hope we can bring this to them. We were going to host the festival in 2024 however we decided to delay this in order to bring the best event possible for the people of Swansea. We could have run the event last year, however we thought an extra year would give us enough time to put the best possible event forward for the people of Swansea and Wales."

McFly dedicated It's All About You to TikTok star, Joel (thelifeofjoeloates) who they met in a service station yesterday.

Joel and his mum Clare, from Port Talbot, only joined TikTok in January but they're already getting recognised in the street.
Clare Cerasuolo began sharing videos of the pair's amusing tiffs and heart-felt conversations at home because she wants people to "see how amazing people with Down's syndrome are".
In the weeks since joining the platform these glimpses into their relationship have won them more than 42,000 followers and Joel is clearly thrilled with his new status as a local celebrity.
It looks like it is going to stay dry for the festival tomorrow, but it will feel a little colder.
The Met Office forecast for Wales says: "A fresher start to Saturday with plenty of sunshine. Cloudier at times through the afternoon with sunny spells.
"Still feeling pleasant in the sunshine. Breezy along the coasts. Maximum temperature 21 °C."
