The run of new dates was shared this morning on the band’s official Facebook page, and confirmed three UK shows at intimate venues around the country. These all come in celebration of the 20th anniversary of their sophomore album ‘The New Fellas’, and will see them play the tracklist in full alongside extras, deep cuts and B-sides.
The first night will be held at the SWG3 TV Studio in Glasgow on July 21, and will be followed by a stop at Hull University the following night. The third and final new show will be held at the Engine Shed in Lincoln on July 23, and support for all three gigs will come from “fellow 2005 alumni” The Paddingtons and The Mardous.

THE NEW FELLAS – WARM UP CLUB SHOWS JULY 2025.We will be performing the album in full LIVE, plus extras/b-sides/deep…

In the official announcement from The Cribs, the members described the three upcoming shows as warm-ups to their other live performances scheduled for this summer. As well as their aforementioned headline shows, the band will also be playing as part of the 2025 edition of the Come Together Festival, joining Robbie Williams, Kings Of Leon, The Snuts, Nieve Ella and more on the bill.
They will also be opening for The Maccabees at their huge reunion show at All Points East 2025 – marking their first set in eight years – as well as joining Kaiser Chiefs for their homecoming show, celebrating 20 years of ‘Employment’.
The Cribs’ second album arrived a year after their breakthrough 2004 self-titled album, and saw them tackle the feelings of disgust at the attitudes of their so-called peers. It reached Number 11 in NME‘s Albums of the Year edition that same year, and in 2007 NME also named the song ‘Hey Scenesters!’ as one of the “Greatest Indie Anthems Ever”.
The record – alongside their 2004 debut and their third LP ‘Men’s Needs, Women’s Needs, Whatever’ – was reissued by the band in the summer of 2022, alongside a host of previously unreleased material.
News of The Cribs reforming to celebrate album anniversaries first arose last spring, when the members announced a one-off show in Liverpool, celebrating 20 years of their debut album by playing their first two albums in full.

Speaking to NME in 2022, the band recalled how the re-release of their first three albums saw them re-enter the Top 10, and described it as “perverse”.
“It’s certainly not what we were expecting when we did these reissues,” frontman Ryan Jarman said. “The fundamental reason for doing these reissues was because the vinyl had been out of print for such a long time.”
“We didn’t expect anything like this, but it’s amazing,” he added. “We really appreciate it because it means that people still care about the records. That’s not always going to be a given, all this time down the line. It’s been a pretty crazy last couple of days. We’re so psyched.”
