Share
The Texas Christian University Board of Trustees is pleased and proud to announce that the TCU Music Center will be named the Megan and Victor Boschini Music Center in honor of Chancellor and Mrs. Boschini’s 22-year commitment to establishing TCU as a world-class, values-centered university.
Together, they have been committed to ensuring that TCU fulfills its mission to educate individuals to think and act as ethical leaders and responsible citizens in the global community.
On June 1, Boschini will become a working chancellor emeritus and remain an active friend-raiser and fundraiser. He also will serve as the university’s chief enrollment officer.
“The TCU Board of Trustees is pleased to honor the Boschinis’ incredible legacy of 22 years at the helm of the nation’s most dynamic university success story,” Chair Kit T. Moncrief said. “Megan and Victor have done so much for TCU and for the Fort Worth community since arriving here in 2003. Their steadfast and enthusiastic support of the arts makes this a perfect tribute to their lasting impact. Built upon Victor’s vision and ceaseless efforts, TCU’s culture and values give us a firm foundation for a future of educating successful Horned Frog leaders.”
“The Texas Christian University community that we love and cherish today was made possible by the extraordinary dedication of Megan and Victor Boschini,” Daniel W. Pullin, president and chancellor-elect, said. “We are delighted that one of the most beautiful and world-class spaces on our campus will now be named in honor of two of the most admired and beloved leaders at TCU.”
Open in April 2022, the Megan and Victor Boschini Music Center is an invaluable asset to the College of Fine Arts and School of Music. It is part of the Baker Martin Creative Commons on the east side of the TCU campus. At the heart of the facility is the intimate and acoustically perfect Van Cliburn Concert Hall at TCU. The 700-seat state-of-the-art hall hosts musical performances enjoyed by music lovers, TCU students, faculty and staff and the entire Fort Worth community.
In addition, the center provides rehearsal rooms and learning resources for TCU’s band, orchestra and percussion programs.
“It is an honor to name the TCU Music Center for Megan and Victor Boschini and to have their names as a permanent part of our College of Fine Arts,” Amy Hardison Tully, Teresa Ann Carter King Dean of the College of Fine Arts, said. “The Boschinis have been constant and vocal supporters of the arts at TCU, and have a deep understanding of the impact of creative activity on the TCU student experience and the cultural fabric of our community. This is a perfect way to recognize their indelible mark on the culture of TCU.”
