ASHLAND, Ore. – After eight years in Ashland, the Rogue World Music Festival is no more.
Rogue World Music made the announcement Thursday, saying it is stepping away from producing the festival.
It says going forward, it is prioritizing other programs in the community to foster music-making.
That includes the Songbirds Program for elementary students in the Phoenix-Talent School District.
The organizers say it “marks the close of a beautiful chapter” and give thanks to the community members who attended, performed, or volunteered at the festival over the years.
