A new program called Banding Together is giving students in Huron County the chance to explore music and learn new instruments.
The enrichment program is open to students in Grades 7 to 9 and runs for six weeks, from May 15 to June 19. Classes take place Thursday evenings from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Central Huron Secondary School Music Room.
During the program, students will get hands-on experience playing different instruments, including brass, woodwinds, violin, cello, and percussion.
The cost to join is $60. The program is led by TenHag, Savannah Rutledge, a Child and Youth Studies student at Brock University, and CHSS music teacher Aaron Neeb.
Students interested in the program should email huronhonourband@gmail.com by May 9th, 2025 to register.
