Festival's producer sought to "curate some really special lineups" for 2025 edition.
Mempho Presents has announced the lineup for its annual fall music festival.
The Mempho Music Festival is scheduled for Oct. 3-5 at Radians Amphitheater at the Memphis Botanic Garden.
Mempho headliners include Widespread Panic, Tyler Childers, Sierra Farrell, Lukas Nelson, Mavis Staples, Galactic, and John R. Miller. Other acts include Father John Misty, Flaming Lips, Charley Crockett, The Pharcyde, Lucero, Leftover Salmon, High Fade, and Amy Lavere.
„We chose this year’s lineup for a few reasons. … With the successes we’ve had with past Mempho Fests, the word has gotten around that for artists, it’s one of the best festivals to play,“ Mempho Presents producer Mike Smith said in a statement to MBJ. „The fact that we have A-list artists asking us to include them helps us curate some really special lineups. Our proven track record of providing a top-level experience for performers contributes to why we’ve had repeat artists over the years. They simply love playing our event.
„Our ultimate goal is to provide something for everyone while still catering to a specific audience,“ he continued. „We pride ourselves on our ability to showcase local talent and are glad to support the Memphis music scene. As one of the few independent promoters working at this level, we’re proud that these caliber artists continue to work with Mempho Presents at all our events.“
The festival is now in its eighth year. Mempho also plans to bring back its Incendia Dome, featuring rotating DJs each night.
Attendees can purchase one-day, two-day, and three-day ticket packages:
Mempho Present’s second RiverBeat Music festival — with headliners Missy Elliot, The Killers, and Anderson .Paak & The Free Nationals — is set to be held May 2-4 at Tom Lee Park. Other acts include Benson Boone, Cage the Elephant, Khruangbin, Ludacris, Public Enemy, Busta Rhymes, Steve Aoki, Flo Milli, Galantis, and MIKE.
And Mempho Present’s second SmokeSlam barbecue contest is scheduled to take place May 15-17 at Tom Lee Park.
