After nabbing a Sports Emmy on Tuesday night, Lady Gaga is only one award away from becoming an EGOT winner
The “Abracadabra” singer earned her latest honor on Tuesday for her Super Bowl performance of “Hold My Hand,” the Oscar-nominated track from Top Gun: Maverick, earlier this year. She beat out fellow nominees, which included Prime Video’s Evolution of the Black Quarterback, HBO Max’s The Lionheart, ESPN+’s Noche UFC: For Mexico, For All Time and Netflix’s The Turnaround to secure the win.
Her Super Bowl LIX pregame performance was a surprise to viewers as it wasn’t announced ahead of time. During her rendition of “Hold My Hand,” Lady Gaga was joined by police officers, members of the U.S. military and more to pay tribute to the New Year’s Eve attack in New Orleans.

The 14-time Grammy Award winner joins the likes of Adele, Cynthia Erivo, Cher, Kate Winslet and more who are inching toward an EGOT
Aside from her latest Sports Emmy, Lady Gaga has had quite the year. She released her seventh studio album, Mayhem, in February before announcing the record’s accompanying Mayhem Ball Tour, which will kick off in July.
