Nigerian music executive Jude Okoye, has been released from the custody of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) after being held for over two months.
It is worth noting that, his release came on his birthday, making the moment even more significant for him and his supporters.
Recall that Jude had being arrested by the EFCC following a petition from his brother, Peter Okoye.
Peter accused both Jude and their twin brother, Paul Okoye, of cheating him financially during their time working together under the P-Square brand.
While Jude has remained silent since his release, Paul Okoye (Rudeboy) has taken to social media to celebrate while throwing subtle jabs at those he believes were trying to keep their brother behind bars.
In a post shared on his Instagram story, Paul wrote; “Jude is finally out after 2 months plus… all their efforts to frustrate his bail has collapsed.”
His post confirms that there was alleged attempts to block Jude’s release, adding more tension to the ongoing drama within their family.
As at the time of this report, Peter Okoye has not responded to Paul’s comment or publicly addressed Jude’s release.
