The Rochester Lilac Festival kicks off today and attendees can enjoy live music daily from open to close.
This year’s music lineup features a mix of genres from Austin soul and New Orleans jazz to Nigerian Afro-beat and Nashville country.

The festival will also feature a variety of regional music performances, 31 of which are supporting artists, and 18 sets from educational institutions.
Festival attendees will enjoy daytime showcases from high school bands, local community music organizations, live buskers on Reservoir Avenue, and the all-new Bach to Rock Sprouts Stage, focusing on free, family-friendly programming on the weekends.
