GREAT FALLS, Mont. – Great Falls is bustling with events and activities as summer approaches, offering something for everyone. From the Electric City Speedway to the Icebreaker Road Race, there’s no shortage of entertainment.
The Electric City Speedway, one of only three dirt tracks in the state, kicked off its season with the Montana Spring Roundup. Night two of the event continues tonight, promising a fun experience for both racing fans and newcomers.

For those looking to stay active, the Ice Breaker Road Race offers a chance to join thousands in a long-standing Great Falls tradition. Celebrating over 40 years, the race features five-mile, three-mile, and one-mile options. The race takes place tomorrow, Sunday, April 27.
Learn more about the event on the Ice Breaker Road Race website.
Music enthusiasts can enjoy the final symphony of the season at the Civic Center’s Mansfield Theater. The May 10 performance marks the last for conductor Grant Harville, who will be moving on after this season.
„Grant’s final season conducting the Great Falls Symphony hits a crescendo with Mahler’s glorious Symphony No. 2, known as ‘Resurrection.’ Two fabulous soloists and our Symphonic Choir will help Grant close out his tenure with this favorite symphonic work from his teenage years. Join us for a reception after the concert to wish our Maestro a fond farewell.“
Attendees are encouraged to come and see Harville conduct one last time. The summer will continue to offer live music, with outdoor concerts planned in the park.

Classic car lovers can look forward to next weekend’s „Cruisin‘ the Drag“ from 6 to 10 pm on Saturday, May 3. Hundreds of classic, muscle, and unique cars will line Central Ave for nine blocks, from the Civic Center to 9th Street. The event is free and provides a great opportunity to explore downtown Great Falls.

With so much happening, Great Falls is bustling with activities for everyone. Whether you’re a racing fan, runner, music lover, or car enthusiast, there’s something for you to enjoy.
