Ferman, previously rhythm guitarist in garage rock band Ora Violet who played BST Hyde Park, All Points East and a sold out show at London’s Old Blue Last has today announced the release of his debut EP ‘Poser‘ now available on all streaming platforms.
Poser is a collection of 5 rock and roll songs written and recorded in London over the last 4 years with his longtime friends and collaborators William Durzu and Adam Liston.
Growing up in a sleepy town in the North East of Italy in the 80’s and 90’, Nick always wanted to escape its narrow mentality and dreamt of been being a singer, a musician, an artist – but despite touring Europe in a mandolin orchestra, he never had the courage to do his own thing. It took over 30 years and his best friend and producer William Durzu telling him to ‘dust off those three chords’ and try to write a song.
‘‘All the songs came to me in a very organic way, by sitting down at home with a guitar, messing around with chords and melodies. They tell stories of people, they are not necessarily about me, but they all feel personal. I guess one is ready when one is ready” – Ferman
Track list:
Tracks 1 and 2 produced by Adam Liston and mixed by William Durzu, tracks 3, 4, 5 produced ad mixed by William Durzu.
