Falle Nioke has laid out plans for new album ‘Love From The Sea’.
The Guinea-born, now Margate-based is a striking collaborator, sought after by numerous producers. Falle has worked on a number of different projects, ranging from his potent follow work to notable collaborations with the likes of Barry Can’t Swim and Hot Chip’s Joe Goddard.
Debut album ‘Love From The Sea’ is a big step for the artist, and it lands on September 26th via Eat Your Own Ears Recordings.
The record was crafted with the help of new and old collaborators, including Ghost Culture, Johan Hugo (known for his work with artists like Self Esteem and Baaba Maal), and Mercury Prize winner Mike Lindsay (Tunng / LUMP).
New single ‘Falle Le Le Le’ leads the way, and it sums up Falle’s unique approach to music-making. He comments…
“In the city I lived in an army camp and we were surrounded by guns. My parents moved me from Conakry to Boké in the countryside to keep me out of trouble and at that point my life changed. My focus turned from teenage rebellion to music and the path of my life slowly began to reveal itself…”
