Ella Langley and Riley Green Get ACM News From a Country Music Legend – EntertainmentNow

Although the ACM Awards won’t air until May 8th, several country music stars have received their awards early. Zach Top and Ella Langley were crowned New Male and New Female Artist of the Year, respectively, in the weeks before the ceremony. Now, Langley has taken home her second trophy for the year.
On May 3rd, Langley was performing on stage alongside Riley Green when the two got a surprise announcement: the music video for their smash hit duet, “You Look Like You Love Me,” has won Visual Media of the Year. However, what made the win even more special was the country music legend who presented it to them: longtime ACM Awards host Reba McEntire.
In the middle of Langley and Green’s shared performance, the screen behind them lit up with a video message from McEntire. “Well, sorry to interrupt, but I’ve got some big news!” the singer said before announcing the award.
“Can’t wait to celebrate with you both in Frisco,” McEntire concluded. The crowd erupted with cheers as a presenter brought the award on stage. Langley and Green were clearly not expecting the award announcement, or that it would come from McEntire herself. After giving a brief thank-you to the music video’s directors, Langley said, “And Reba,” leading Green to reply “Reba.” Langley later reposted the video on Instagram, tagging McEntire with a simple show of gratitude.
As Cowgirl Magazine shared after the ACM win announcement, Langley and Green are just getting started with potential ACM awards for the year. Langley is the most nominated artist for 2025, with 8 total nominations. With two wins already confirmed, it’s likely to be a very successful year for her at the ACM Awards.
However, Green is also highly nominated, with five total potential awards. The Visual Media of the Year Award marks his second-ever ACM win, and his other four nominations for this year all stem from “You Look Like You Love Me.” Most notably, the infectious duet is up for Single of the Year and Song of the Year.
