The move comes months after Roan left manager Nick Bobetsky, who managed her through her breakout as one of the biggest artists in pop music.

Chappell Roan officially has a new manager, as the superstar has signed with Drew Simmons of Foundations Management. Simmons announced the news on his Instagram on Monday.
“Thrilled to be working with Chappell Roan — it’s an honor to welcome her to Foundations,” Simmons wrote. Simmons is best-known as manager for Noah Kahan, though Foundations also represents artists including jazz-pop act Laufey and Rebecca Black, who first came to prominence with the infamous viral Youtube song “Friday” and has since picked up a following as a hyperpop act.

The move comes months after Roan split from Nick Bobetsky, who served as her manager through much of last year, when Roan broke out as one of the biggest superstars on the planet as The Rise and Fall of A Midwest Princess steadily climbed all the way to No. 2 on the charts months after its release, while she drew headline-level crowds on the festival circuit.
Roan earned nominations for six Grammy Awards earlier this year, including for all of the major four categories, coming away with the win for best new artist. During her acceptance speech, Roan started a major discourse in the industry as she called on the major record labels to better support developing artists, drawing attention to the complicated world of healthcare for recording artists.
Roan has moved on from the Midwest Princess era, releasing her long-awaited country debut “The Giver,” last month. The song opened at No. 5 on Billboard’s Hot 100 chart and topped the publication’s Hot Country Songs chart as well.
