Well, at the end it could have only gone one way, couldn’t it.
We had the Brat Summer last year, some even tried to create a Brat Autumn, and tonight, the start of a Brat Spring.
Five Brit Awards for Charli XCX (I’m not typing the B word again), and one for its producer, A.G. Cook.
It’s an incredible achievement but a deserved one, especially when you think back to how omnipresent she and her record were last year.
We’ve had rock n’ roll, Sam Fender, who won Best Alternative/Rock act, take to the stage, and if his presence in the Winner’s Room at the moment is anything to go by, he’s about to take to the dance floor tonight.
A good night for the Last Dinner Party too, as they took home best new artist. I can hear them laughing behind me as they start to celebrate their win.
Ezra Collective, and their massive entourage also have a reason to be cheerful, taking home Group of the Year… I told them they were more important than me, maybe now they’ll believe me.
And a moment of Brits history tonight, with Sabrina Carpenter becoming the first international singer to win the Global Success Award.
As the great and good of the UK music industry make their way to one of the many parties happening here and beyond, we’ll leave you here now.
From all of us at the O2 and London Broadcasting House, thanks for joining us. Have a Brat Sunday.

One of the best bits of any award shows is seeing what the stars are wearing as they enter.
Culture reporter Annabel Rackham has put together some of the most iconic looks, which you can review for yourselves here.
The five-time winner is now in the Winners Room with all her awards, trying to figure out whether to pose with them or not. "Is this lame? It feels lame," she says.
"Don’t do the pictures of this, this is insane."
She’s asked to hold them up. "Are you joking?" she replies. Everyone laughs

We’re not sure if the five-Brit winning Charli XCX is on her way to the Winner’s Room, but we’re all waiting in case she does.
We’ve seen The Last Dinner Party walk past, but no sign of Charli yet.
If her acceptance speeches have been anything to go by, it sounds like it’s been a Brat Saturday for her.

ITV are apparently complaining about Charli XCX's nipples. Well, shame for them because she's up again for album of the year!
In her speech, she says she used to tell herself this kind of recognition wasn't important. "That was easy for me to do – until last year I wasn't nominated for anything," she says.
She tells the crowd that she's always felt like an outsider, particularly in the British music industry. But, she says, she hasn't made any sacrifices – and has been doing her own thing in her own corner of the industry.
"I share this with all artists who ever felt like they needed to compromise to be recognised – I am living proof that you don't need to compromise your vision".
This is Charli XCX's fourth award of the evening and the fifth overall at this year's Brits.
Time now for the last award of the evening. But who's in the running?

The whole arena falls silent to remember Liam Payne as a tribute to him is played on the screens.
It's 13 years since One Direction first performed at the Brits. Screens in the arena show Liam with his young son, 1D tour footage and personal family photos.
Everyone has stopped the party to watch. The tribute is followed by a huge applause.
"This is really cool," Charli XCX says while accepting her award for best artist.
"Thank you to all those artists who feel like they don't fit in but are brave enough to try, and be rejected a thousand times – I share this with you," the GUESS singer adds.
And in true Charli spirit, she ends saying: "Keep partying".
And she's now on award number four tonight.
Charli XCX faces stiff competition for the top award. Here’s her fellow contenders:

How’s it all looking at home? Here at the O2, the corridors are buzzing as people swarm in and out of the arena, shuttling around props and microphones and giant buckets of champagne.
The awards so far have been pretty predictable, in a good way. Charli’s first two victories set her up for the main prizes (artist and album of the year) later, while Ezra Collective swept through the room on a wave of good-will, fuelled by their unbridled positivity.
Sabrina Carpenter’s global success award felt a little more forced. The prize was originally created to recognise British acts (ie One Direction) who’d sold millions of records abroad – so giving it to a US act makes no sense.
Still, Sabrina spent 21 weeks at number one in the UK singles chart last year – the first time that’s happened in 71 years – so there’s still an argument for recognising her achievements.
Performance-wise, I managed to catch JADE ascending to the heavens without missing a note; and I can’t quite believe Sabrina got her “come ride on me / I mean camaraderie” lyric past ITV’s censors!
As we mentioned a little earlier, Chappell Roan is not at the ceremony tonight but she's sent another video to thank her fans.
And the nominees are:

Brit school students right at the front of the stage have the best view of the lot. It must be an amazing experience for them seeing alumni like Lola Young up on stage.
Record-breaking Brits winner and Brit school alumni Raye even gave them a shout-out when accepting best R&B act, telling them to chase their dreams.
This is the group's second Brit after snatching Rising Star at last year awards.
"This is really the biggest honour of our lives," they say. "We want to thank literally everyone we've ever met."
They pay special tribute to their producer, James Ford: "That man can really make a record."
They conclude their acceptance speech echoing Myles Smith, who earlier launched an appeal to help stop the closure of independent music venues.
Before we find out the answer, here are the nominees:
The group couldn't be at the ceremony but sent in a video from Australia.
"We weren't expecting to get it a second time," they say, adding they had faced very strong competition at this year's awards.

Everyone in the O2 arena has been on their feet tonight, and JADE's performance has been a highlight so far. Goosebumps for sure.
Especially as she told BBC Newsbeat on the red carpet earlier that she was overwhelmed about being here solo for the first time.
Plenty of excitement here for what's to come. Will there be any surprise appearances? Let's wait and see.
