BigHit Music Announces Debut Of A New Boy Group In Third Quarter Of 2025 – News18

South Korean agency BigHit Music, a subsidiary of HYBE, released a report on its earnings from the first quarter of 2025 on Tuesday, April 29. During the meeting, which was held at 4 PM KST, the company announced that they would soon be debuting a new boy group. BigHit Music, home to K-pop powerhouses such as BTS and TXT, is set to introduce a new boy group six years after they debuted Tomorrow X Together (TXT).
As reported by Soompi, BigHit Music is launching a new boy group in the third quarter of 2025, likely between July and September. The company described the new group as “a next-generation creator crew that will express themselves in an entirely new way." As shared in a statement by the company, the new group will not only personally participate in the making of their music but also play a key role in their choreographies as well as music videos.
“Starting last year, the members [of the new group] proved their creative abilities by contributing to the production of music and performances by senior HYBE artists," said BigHit Music. Except for the tentative debut date of the group, the company has kept other details, such as the name and lineup, under wraps, which it will reveal over time.
Apart from announcing a new boy group, BigHit Music also disclosed its earnings for the first quarter. It generated a total of 500 billion won, equivalent to approximately $349 million, in revenue during the first three months of 2025. This marks a 39 per cent increase compared to the same quarter last year.
The second half of 2025 is set to be quite eventful for HYBE as a whole. Apart from this hush-hush boy group, the company’s Japanese subsidiary YX Labels is also set to launch a new group named aoen in June this year. The J-pop boy group will comprise seven members, all of whom participated in the music survival show OEN High. The show aired on Nippon TV from February to April.
Every member in the group was trained for a total of two years before they competed on the show. Moreover, five members of the group were selected by the HYBE subsidiary, while the other two were inducted into the group based on audience votes.
