A popular influencer who boasted more than 350,000 social media followers has died at age 24, her family has announced.
Misha Agrawal’s death was announced on her Instagram account Saturday, just two days before her 25th birthday.
“It is with a heavy heart that we share the heartbreaking news of Misha Agrawal’s passing,” the statement reads.
“Thank you all for the love and support you showed her and her work. We are still trying to come to terms with this immense loss.”
“Please keep her in your thoughts and continue to carry her spirit in your hearts,” the post concluded.
The statement was captioned, “Our loss is unimaginable. We have no words.”
A cause of death has yet to be announced.
In addition to her large social media following, Agrawal — who hailed from India — also ran a hair oil brand called Mish Cosmetics.
On Monday, her company also shared an emotional tribute on Instagram, saying Agrawal was full of “passion” and had a “dream to make a difference.”
“We are heartbroken to share that our founder, Misha Agrawal, has passed away. She built MishCosmetics.in and Mish Hair Oil with love, passion, and a dream to make a difference,” the brand posted.
“Thank you for standing with us, for your endless love, and for believing in Misha’s dream. Let’s continue to keep her spirit alive — together.”
Following the news, fans rushed to the comments section to share their sadness and pay their heartfelt respects to the influencer.
However, many followers couldn’t help but flood the comments section with questions about how she died, prompting her sister to speak out.
“Guys, please don’t panic,” her sister, Er Mukta Agrawal, wrote. “You deserve to know this news, which is why we’re sharing the update now.”
“We’re not in a position to explain the hows and whys at the moment. Please take care,” she added.
Agrawal garnered a large social media following thanks to “The Misha Agrawal Show” — where she shared relatable videos about her life.
Her final video was posted on April 4, and saw her collaborate with fellow influencer Priyank Tiwari.
Agrawal kickstarted Mish Cosmetics two years ago after suffering hair loss.
“Back in 2023 I started losing a lot of hair, And I cant bear losing hair,” she previously said.
“That’s when we curated this entirely organic oil made with natural herbs like fenugreek, bhringraj, shikakai, amla and many more, and in just 7 weeks I could see possible hair growth.”
