Bid for new Priory Park music event among latest public notices in south Essex – Southend Echo

Proposals for a new event with music and dance is among the latest public notices in south Essex. 
A new annual event could be coming to a popular Southend park.
Live Tour Promotions Ltd has applied for a premises licence at Priory Park, Victoria Avenue.
The application covers live and recorded music, dance, and the supply of alcohol.
The event would take place on one Sunday each year, between May and September.
Anyone wishing to comment must submit their representation in writing by May 9.
An application has been made to build a new quay wall at Leigh Port.
Southend Council is seeking a marine licence for the project.
The plan also includes the construction of a new quay surface and dredging of the berth pocket and the first 650 metres of the channel alongside the port.

A three-day road closure will affect drivers in Southend next week.
Southend Council has announced that Sackville Road will be closed at its junction with Southchurch Boulevard from April 28, 9.30am, to April 30, 3.30pm.
Restrictions will also be in place on Southchurch Boulevard, with no parking, stopping, waiting, loading or unloading permitted from the junction with Castleton Road to outside number 59.
An alternative route will be available via Southchurch Boulevard, Arlington Road and Pelham Road.
A removals company wants to add to its fleet on Canvey. 
Johns Removals & Storage, Smooth Moves, based at Northwick Storage Ltd, Kings Road, Canvey Island, has applied to increase its goods vehicles from two to four.
No trailers are included in the application.
Anyone wishing to object must write to the Traffic Commissioner by May 8.
A health and beauty retailer is seeking to sell alcohol in Wickford.
Savers Health and Beauty Ltd has applied for a premises licence for its store at 20 High Street, Wickford.
If approved, the licence would allow the sale of alcohol from 8am to 7pm, Monday to Saturday, and 9am to 5pm on Sundays.
In December, hours would extend to 8pm, Monday to Saturday.
A company has applied to operate a goods vehicle from a Wickford business park.
H Gebreab Ltd, based in London, has submitted an application to use Brett Aggregate, Hurricane Way, Wickford Business Park, as an operating centre for one goods vehicle.
Anyone who believes their use or enjoyment of nearby land would be affected should submit written representations to the Traffic Commissioner by May 7.
