VICKSBURG, Miss. (VDN) — Gospel choirs, a fashion show, dance teams, and a wide variety of music acts will fill the air and cover the bricks this Saturday, April 26, for Vicksburg’s Music and Culture Fest in downtown Vicksburg, hosted by the city of Vicksburg and the Vicksburg 200 Committee.
Spread across two different stages and along Washington Street, the single day event is packed with “local and regional music many Vicksburgers already know and love but also highlight cultural aspects of the Delta that may be a little less familiar.”
The Vicksburg Trolley will be available to transport festivalgoers between Washington Street Park, Crawford Square/Gordon’s Alley, and the Old Court House’s Spring Flea Market, which has been held for over 45 years.

The evening will wrap up with the Mississippi Metropolis fashion show, presented by Hoodvency, at the Levee Street Warehouse, with doors for opening at 7 p.m.
The Vicksburg 200 Committee is planning a series of commemorative events throughout the year as part of the city’s bicentennial celebration. For a full schedule, visit vicksburg200.com/events.
