Host Jennifer Lopez kicked off the 2025 American Music Awards in Las Vegas May 26 with a medley of songs, even sharing kisses with her dancers during "Beautiful Things."
Jennifer Lopez is ready to get loud at the 2025 American Music Awards.
The “Jenny from the Block” singer wowed with her opening number at the Fontainebleau in Las Vegas May 26, where she’s pulling double duty as host and performer at the fan-voted ceremony.
In signature fashion-forward style, the 55-year-old stunned in a sheer body suit while dancing to a medley of hit songs from the past year. But it was during Benson Boone's "Beautiful Things" that J.Lo raised eyebrows by kissing not one but two of her dancers in steamy embraces.

Prior to the big night, Jennifer—who previously hosted the AMAs in 2015—shared that she’s been hard at work preparing for her performance.
“I've been rehearsing for a couple of weeks on the number,” she told E! News’ Francesca Amiker in an exclusive interview. “So I'm excited about that.”
And after canceling her This Is Me…Live tour in 2024 to “be with her children, family and close friends,” the singer added that she’s “excited to get back out there.”
“This’ll be my first big television performance in a while since I took last year off,” she noted. “This is kind of like getting back into my performance mode.”
And there’s no denying J.Lo has been giving it her all in rehearsals. Earlier this month, she revealed she sustained a facial injury while prepping for the show, but the medical scare couldn’t keep her down for long.
“A week later and a whole lotta ice,” she wrote in an Instagram Stories post at the time, “I'm good as new.”
Jennifer leads an all-star lineup featuring performances from Gwen Stefani, Blake Shelton Benson Boone, Gloria Estefan, Lainey Wilson and Reneé Rapp, as well as honorees Janet Jackson and Rod Stewart. Presenters slated to appear include Machine Gun Kelly, Cara Delevingne, Shaboozey and Dylan Efron.
