Gorillaz will toast their 25th anniversary with special events at London’s Copper Box Arena this summer.
Remarkably, it’s a full quarter century since Gorillaz made their bow, with the release of ‘Tomorrow Comes Today’ in 2000. At the time, the multi-disciplinary pop project – helmed by Damon Albarn and Jamie Hewlett – perplexed critics and delighted fans, but it’s gone on to become a deeply influential, hugely forward-thinking 21st century pop endeavour.
The group – bassist Murdoc Niccals, singer 2D, drummer Russel Hobbs and guitarist Noodle – have weathered all challenges, and celebrate their 25th anniversary this year.
House Of Kong is a lavish exhibition – hosted at Copper Box Arena in East London, it runs from August 8th to September 3rd and tells Gorillaz’ story in full.

More details on the shows will be announced very soon.
House of Kong exhibition tickets are priced from £25 and are on sale now.
