NATCHEZ — The weather cooperated for the first of what is hoped will become an annual event, the Stay Tuned Music Festival. While the sun shone brightly, a cool breeze made for a pleasant afternoon and evening.
Historic Dunleith provided a gorgeous backdrop for a lovely Natchez lawn party. Blankets and folding chairs dotted the south side of one of Natchez’s most beautiful houses while residents and visitors enjoyed five bands, beginning at noon and continuing well into the night.
The biggest draw of the day was Natchez native Jack Curtis of Kings of Tupelo fame, who performed his Elvis tribute. The evening ended with the headliners, Monster of Yacht.
