Lutheran Summer Music (LSM) returns for its 43rd season from June 22 to July 20, 2025, hosted once again at Valparaiso University in Indiana. This four-week faith-filled musical experience includes over 30 free concerts, recitals, and worship services—all open to the public and streamed online for those who can’t attend in person.
Highlights of the 2025 season include the cherished Bach Cantata Eucharist, a rousing Festival of Hymns, and the debut of the Faculty Organ Recital. The concluding Festival Week will feature extraordinary performances by the Festival Band, Orchestra, and Choir, showcasing the gifts of student musicians formed by a month of learning, community, and worship.
Whether you’re a longtime supporter or new to the LSM experience, you are invited to attend in person or tune in remotely through Live from LSM, which brings the music and spirit of the academy to homes across the country.
LSM continues to be a vital ministry in the Lutheran tradition, where young musicians grow in skill, community, and faith. It is an example of how music forms discipleship, offering a sacred space where Lutheran theology is lived through artistic expression.
