Verraco announces debut XL EP, ‘Basic Maneuvers’
Verraco has signed to XL and announced a new EP titled ‘Basic Maneuvers’ is landing on May 29.
The three-tracker reflects the TraTraTrax co-founder’s shift towards intense, impactful and so-called ‘simpler’ music for the dancefloor, as discussed in his 2024 Mixmag cover feature.
The title-track is out now, pushing surging synths and chaotic bass across a 4×4 foundations.
The EP also features a collaboration with Kenyan-Ugandan rapper MC Yallah, bridging sounds from East Africa, Colombia and the UK with grime influence weaved in.

Erika De Casier surprise releases new album ‘Lifetime’
Erika De Casier has released her fourth album, ‘Lifetime’.
The surprise drop first emerged via a limited number of cassettes put up on Bandcamp last month which prompt sold-out in under 30 minutes.
The dreamy collection of 11 tracks is now out across digital and vinyl formats, and has come out via her own Independent Jeep Music label, after two LPs on 4AD.

Bios Contrast & Nilotpal Das announces new album on Infinite Machine
Indian producer Nilotpal Das, AKA Bios Contrast, is releasing an eight-tracker titled ‘SSAC42’ via Infinite Machine on June 27.
The opening track ‘everyth1ng 1n l1fe (feat. K_anti)’ is available to stream now, showcasing glitchy, experimental production and delicate vocals.

Nourished By Time announces new album ‘The Passionate Ones’
Nourished By Time is releasing a new album titled ‘The Passionate Ones’ on August 22.
The 12-track LP shows the Baltimore artist’s signature blend of R&B, hip hop, jazz, indie, punk and more, exploring existential themes such as dreams and disillusionment, love, and the fallacy of the American Dream.
The first single ‘Max Potential’ arrives alongside a self-directed video. Watch it below.

Orbital and Confidence Man team up on new single, ‘Re-lush’
Orbital have teamed up with Confidence Man on a brand new single, ‘Re-lush’, set to appear on a reissue of Orbital’s self-titled 1993 record, also known as ‘The Brown Album’.
The new track is influenced by Orbital’s classic ‘Lush 3-1’ and ‘Lush 3-2’. “Confidence Man have done that rare but always strived for thing with a remix, it’s totally Lush, totally Orbital, totally modern, and totally Confidence Man,” the duo said.

Simo Cell returns with new four-track EP this summer, ‘FL Louis’
Simo Cell is set to deliver his next EP on TEMƎT Music this summer, ‘FL Louis’, due to land on June 20.
Influenced by French touch and bloghouse, the four-track release is an homage to Simo Cell’s childhood: “Though I’m strongly tied to the UK scene, I’m not a bass artist, and I’ve recently felt a need to reconnect with my teenage musical roots,” he says.

DJ Haram to deliver debut album, ‘Beside Myself’, on Hyperdub
DJ, producer, and vocalist DJ Haram is gearing up to release her debut album on Hyperdub this summer, ‘Beside Myself’, landing on July 18.
The 14-track record features collaborations with Armand Hammer, Bbymutha, SHA RAY, Moor Mother, Dakn, and many more.

Coffintexts delivers third release on Clasico with ‘Mas Fina‘ / ‚Vamos Al Club’
Miami’s Coffintexts is set to make her third appearance on Clasico this month with a new two-track release, ‘Mas Fina‘ / ‚Vamos Al Club’.
“It’s deeper, and dreamier than the last two tracks I released on Clasico,” she explains. “It felt right to follow up with something along those lines.”

BADSISTA announces new five-track EP, ‘CUTE BOYZ’
BADSISTA has announced the release of a new five-track EP, ‘CUTE BOYZ’, merging genres including house, bass music and baile funk.
“We made this great melting pot of things and references,” they explain. “It could only have been created by people who live here, who live what we live.”
